In her novel, “Wither”, the young American author Lauren DeStefano writes: “Fall has always been my favourite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.”
“Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn”, said the famous American actress Elizabeth Lawrence many years ago. Yes, Autumn truly carries more gold in its pockets than any other season…How are YOU feeling as the days are getting shorter and the long, cold nights are creeping closer? We’ve all been working hard these past 3 months. You really deserve to enjoy the peace, quiet, and beauty that Autumn brings…Take time to reflect on and appreciate how you’ve spent the first 3 months of 2019 and use these memories to keep you motivated as you settle into a more consistent pace. Remind yourself of what you’ve accomplished so far and what you have to look forward to…
But, important question -have you gotten through those new year resolutions yet? Keep in mind that Autumn is a reminder that you still have time to keep all those promises you’ve made to yourself. It is natural to slow down, but equally as important that you don’t stop completely. Never forget that it’s always harder to get moving again from a standstill…
Only one more question – Need a boost of energy to get through this winter? Then sign up for our Ultimate You 12-week Winter Challenge! Why, you ask? Because when it’s cold, grey, damp and miserable, maintaining the motivation to work on your goals can be a struggle. Especially when just getting out of bed takes so much effort. On those days when you’d much rather stay curled up in bed under the duvet, you need to remember why your goals and intentions are important to you. You need a reminder of what you are working towards. The Winter Challenge is a great vision board to keep you motivated and a constant reminder of your WHY…
Our Challenge starts on Monday the 13th of May, and I promise it will not let you down. Entry fee is R320 if you pay before the 10th of May, R350 payable before 1st of June, or R450 (3 payments of R150, last payment due 19th of July).
